Explore Tours
TRIP OVERVIEW
The ideal day hike to see the Himalayas and Namobuddha, a Buddhist cultural landmark is a hike from Dhulikhel to Namo Buddha.
During this hike, you pass through ethnic rural villages, pine forests, and terraced farmlands while offering a panoramic mountain vista, temples, and a wide range of topography. On a clear day, you may see numerous additional enormous mountains in addition to the beautiful Mt. Everest and Mt. Manaslu. You arrive at Namo Buddha Monastery, which is regarded as a sacred Buddhist pilgrimage site, after traversing these lovely villages and forests. The bones and hair of Prince Mahasatttav, who, according to mythology, donated his body to feed an elderly starving tigress so she could nourish her offspring, were used to construct one of the three major stupas.
